Privacy Policy

Built to Hoop keeps the app local-first. You can use the core training experience without creating an account or providing your name, email, contacts, or location.

Data stored on your device

The app may store your onboarding choices, workout progress, streaks, settings, membership status, BTH license key, and referral code on your device. You can clear this data from the app's reset control or by removing the app.

Optional app analytics and referrals

If the optional BTH backend is enabled, the app may send an anonymous device identifier, basic app events such as sessions completed or membership unlocked, and referral-code activity. This is used to understand app usage and count referrals. It is not used for third-party advertising.

Payments and membership

Payments are handled by Stripe, Gumroad, Apple, or Google. Their privacy policies govern payment information. Built to Hoop does not receive your full payment-card details.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app schedules training notifications on your device. You can disable them in the app or your phone settings.

Sharing and selling data

Built to Hoop does not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers only when needed to run the app, payments, analytics, support, or referrals.

Retention and deletion

On-device data remains until you reset or remove the app. Optional backend event and referral records are kept only as long as needed for operations and reporting. To request deletion of backend records associated with your device or referral code, contact support.

Children

Built to Hoop is not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian should supervise any minor using a training program.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the app changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
